H.E. Eng. Ahmad Al-Malkawi

He serves as the Chairman of the Greater Amman Municipality Committee. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan and possesses over 30 years of distinguished experience at the Greater Amman Municipality. He has advanced through various technical and administrative roles within the Municipality, eventually assuming the position of City Manager in 2019. Additionally, he has gained specialized expertise in strategic project management, civil engineering, road and infrastructure maintenance, and small-scale projects, alongside a focus on resource development and operational efficiency.

H.E. Eng. Mohammad Al-Amoush

Secretary-General for Technical Affairs, Ministry of Local Administration

He serves as the Secretary-General for Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Local Administration, bringing over 24 years of experience in local administration, sustainable development, and institutional reform. He holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, in addition to specialized executive training in local governance.

Master’s in International Law (UK). Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment and Acting Director-General of the Jordan Investment Fund. Career spans trade policy and international negotiations, shaping Jordan’s investment and economic strategy.

Over 32 years in diplomacy including former Inspector General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador of Jordan to Australia and New Zealand, Dean of the diplomatic corps in Australia, and Chairman of the Council of Arab Ambassadors in Canberra.

H.E. Eng. Reyad Al Kharabsheh

General Manager, Land Transport Regulatory Commission

20+ years’ international experience in transport strategy, infrastructure reform, and urban mobility; General Manager of Jordan’s Land Transport Regulatory Commission. Previously led Amman’s BRT, ITS, and mobility reform initiatives as CEO of Public Transport Projects at GAM.
